In the latest update, Autodesk is now focusing more on improving existing systems and implementing features voted on by the community. As a result, Maya has turned into a much better, all-around application that continues to develop and improve in a focused way. Maya 2020 adds 60+ new updates that animators will notice in their daily work.
This version also includes Arnold 6, which can now be used for production rendering on both the CPU and GPU, as well as significant performance improvements and new simulation features for Bifrost, which is Maya’s visual programming environment.
In addition, there are many improvements for the viewport, including the UV editor and the Dense Geometry selection.
